If it isn't bad price wise go for it for the confidence / not having to worry about it factor. What's the price for the service? Standard dell servers are as easy as they come to rack and setting up a 2016 box to serve up files and SQL is pretty entry level. So any experiences with Dell ProDeploy (or the ProDeploy Plus which is more extensive) that you can share would be appreciated. Apparently, they'll come out and set up the whole thing for you and depending upon the level of service, provide remote support for a period of time afterward. At least until I can get a good person to maintain the server (either in person or remotely). So the idea of having someone qualified (if Dell ProDeploy) is the right service, is appealing. Maybe we'd store some other files on it that are critical. And if we order a new server, (which we must do soon) I'm far from confident in my abilities to set up Server 2016 (which apparently comes pre-installed) and configure the network (which we'll use solely as a file server for the ERP database and the Quickbooks database). I'm able to do very, very basic things to maintain it.
